At The 1st Annual Leading for Change Conference, we hosted several speakers, invited 50 schools, and promoted changes in women’s leadership through a day of conversation, inspiration, and innovative ideas.
Our founder, Rachel Hansen’s, view of the conference: “I think we don’t have enough women in society’s leadership.” The conference was about “getting young women involved in leadership at an early age so that they become confident in their leadership skills.”
Quotes from our Members:
“I think it’s a great opportunity for all the girls in this area to gain some knowledge and become great leaders. We’re really excited.”
“I think this is a great opportunity for people who never had this experience before. And I think people are going to be able to make a lot of changes in their community from what they learn here.”
The conference is “a one of a kind event because it’s by girls, for girls. It gives girls experience and opportunities for the future for leadership ideas and to start to plan their lives.”
